"This man... He's probably running around some base in Antartica one moment, and then... well, he's here. And fromw hat he's saying, it sounds like he triggered some kind of time travel."
"... Most likely some sort of pet experiment."
"... By this group named 'UTAF', yes... and..."
"Something related with Milk."
"... *sigh*"
The more Clementia hears about this, the less sense it makes. Was she supposed to accept that there's this time traveler all of the sudden...?
She wants to ask what happens in the future, but... she doesn't feel like it. No point conversing with the enemy, after all.
"Anyways, we don't know what a 'Terran' is, but yes, this is Earth. Based on what you're saying, I assume it's been rebranded as 'Terra' in your time?"
"... But you're right. The three of us... Well, four." Poor Helia, she must have been done respawning by now. "... are the ones who torched this city. It's our job."
"So what now? Avenge your fellow Terrans? Or try to find a way back to your... time?"
it's a bit hard to wrap her head around with all this, she must admit, but there's lots of things she doesn't know, even when she told him regarding his circumstance.
UTAF... Terra... She'd like to know how to replicate his tech, but it doesn't seem possible either.
And as for the other blonde...

"Clementia wants to say that we could at least guide you somewhere to rest and get your bearings."

Clementia wanted to speak, but cut herself off.

"... We're not running a charity, and our orders were supposed to kill all survivors. Consider yourself lucky, alien."

Did he hit his target? Probably.
Did it matter? His immediate descent into a human-shaped crater in the streets below would say otherwise.
After the asphalt dust cleared, the maverick found himself surrounded by his three remaining opponent's. And Berry's wyvern. In addition to his embedding in the street, Albion's strike had left him fairly dazed. Unscathed, but dazed. A red wisp of energy disappeared after rising from his leg where Clementia had shot him.
He opened his eyes the rest of the way to see their leader grabbing his ID card from Clementia after giving the stand-down order to her and Berry. As good a moment as any to pull himself up. At least for a little bit before the leader's sword appeared right before his neck.
He instantly froze, glaring at the tip of the sword, and looking back up at the leader as she called him by name.
That confirms it, thought Veno, as the leader gave him her ultimatum.
Seeing the ID card coming back his way, he caught it in an instant. In that same instant, he pinched the tip of the leader's sword with that same hand, and with the same fingers he held the card with. Looking directly in the leader's eyes without a hint of glow or fight, he slowly pushed the sword thirty centimeters away from himself, shaking his head out of the daze he was in. He let go of it.
"Sent? No, I wasn't "sent" here. I ended up here."
He pocketed his ID at a normal human pace. "I don't know how, either." A short sigh. "One moment I'm speed-training alone on a runway in the Antarctica base, and the next I'm tumbling into a small dirt cliff a whole millennium and a half before my time. Not that it exactly matters until I find a way back... but would it even be worth it? The damned UTAF hasn't even used me since the Miikrenite inva--"
"Oh, right. It's twenty thirteen apparently, you wouldn't know what those are."
He looked between the three fairies, appearing incredulous. "You don't know what a Terran is, though? How long have you been on planet Terra? Planet Earth? ...this IS still planet Earth, right? If so, you killed a whole bunch of Terrans before I showed up to fight what I thought was some wild wyvern wreaking havoc in this ancient city."
He glanced Berry and her wyvern when he said that last bit.

I made a few new wax seal stamps out of clay (like the ones I did for my worldbuilding stuff forever ago), this time just of random symbols that I thought might look good done in the style of painting over the raised part of the wax or etc. :0c Some of them aren't carved deep enough to really show up that well, but overall they worked okay for being clay lol

I was imagining like a swirly night sky sort of looking thing so it would be a surreal contrast of a night#sky with a window in the middle that shows a daytime sky - but the silver and purple wax kind of mixed too much together#with the black and it just looks very plain black and not all that starry or anything hjbhj.. Of course the eye is probably my favorite#since all I ever do is draw eyes and still like eye imagery for some reason. The four leaf clover is very lumpy and skrunkty but also it wa#the smallest in size out of all of them so was easier to do multiple stamps of just to try it out.#The heart with eyes wax is actually more swirly in person. I wanted it to be a mix of light pink and red and white. and the wax#did kind of all blend together but in person you can definitely see MORE of the intentional swirlyness. in this it just looks plain pink.#I was going to do one eye in the heart but it looked weird. but now two seems too plain. i could have done 3?? in a pattern.. hmm#alas. I wish I could make actual metal ones. With the clay i have to paint them in a thin layer of olive oil before stamping because#otherwise the wax just kind of gets stuck in the grooves of the clay and then you can't pull it up. Very wacky ''unprofessional'' looking#set up where I'm hot gluing circles of sculpey clay to short stumps of a wooden dowel that I sawed apart with a serrated bread knife#and then using an old paintbrush to put olive oil on them whilst holding a spoon over a yankee candle flame hjbjh#ANYWAY.. I think if I were middle class/rich/etc. this would be one of the main things in my crafting room is like.. SO many colors#of wax. and all different custom made stamps designed by me. which could be much more elaborate in actual metal.. muahaha.... >:)c#RHGghhh... I actually don't want to talk much about it since (this is probably just my Obsessed With My Own World Artist Delusions) I#think I have a really cool idea for a game that could genuinely be successful if i ever get to make it and I don't want to give#everything away and spoil the whole plot/concept in hopes that one day I can actually do it - BUT - a game that I'd like to make after the#visual novel I'm making now has partially to do with the main character working as a sort of writer/scribe/artist assistant in an elven#city (set in my world/with my worldbuilding species and versions of elves and etc) and I was thinking of maybe incorporating#somehow being able to collect little writing type items like these like.. you can get different wax seal patterns or pens or etc. when I do#stuff like this in Real Life it always makes me think of that like.. ouh... this is good research.. what it shall be like to be a littol#elf collecting wax seals and such.. indeed... GRR i need to be finished with my current game NOWWW... i MUST work on other#thingss... aughh... thinking about how ever since they met there was a time period of a handful of months where the longest they would go without seeing each other was a week or two at a time and they publicly longed and yearned for each other every time they were separated and then their visits were defined by hometowns and train rides and then phil moved out and dan showed up and kept him and the longest they were apart from 2009 to 2022 was two and a half fucking weeks and then dan went on tour for 2 months and travelled across the world to make it back for phil’s birthday and oh god they’re literally inseparable
